Elephant, papier-mâché sculpture

Made of papier-mâché, this small elephant is hand-modelled and decorated in Indian style.

As in Indian miniatures, it is adorned with a ‘rich’ colourful carpet, decorated with floral motifs and enhanced with touches of colour.

The ensemble features bright, warm colours: red, yellow, pink, and a hint of gold to add just the right amount of sparkle.

Dimensions: Length 12.5 cm - Height 8 cm - Width 6 cm approx.

Materials used: paper, metal wire in the trunk, cardboard. Acrylic paint and Posca pens. Collage of painted tissue paper.

Looks lovely under a glass dome, which makes the sculpture even more precious.
